Interesting variety with very pretty striped fruits, originally from India.

Plant: compact; fruits small, roundish. For harvesting as baby aubergine: 5cm long x 8cm diameter or ripe: 7-10cm x 5-7cm diameter. High yield even in northern regions. Spikeless plant.

Eggplants: grow best in warm regions, in Central Europe even in the open. Sow seeds indoors in February, transplant to pots and plant outdoors middle of may, when soil is warm and danger of frost over. Harvest fruits from end of August.
