Days to maturity; yield, uniformity of the fruit, disease resistance of plant and fruit, demand on the market, taste of the flesh, optic appearance, decorattive value, use, and storage possibility,
A: Recommended for cultivations of larger areas
B: A good variation for cultivation and market
C: Recommended for cultivations of smaller areas
D: Recommended for the cultivation for connoisseurs
Bush: needs 0.6 - 1 square meters per plant
Semibush: needs 0.8 - 1.2 square meters per plant
Vine: needs 1 - 2 square meters per plant
Large vine: needs 1.5 - 3 square meters per plant
Storage: +; with good storage conditions about 50% last for 1 month
Storage: ++; with good storage conditions about 50% last for 2 months
Storage: +++; with good storage conditions about 50% last for 3 months
Storage: ++++; with good storage conditions about 50% last for 4 months
Storage: +++++; with good storage conditions about 50% last for 5 months
Good storage conditions for the most pumpkin varieties are 10-15 degree Celsius, good air circulation and no big temperature variations.
80 Days: ripes very safe in a Central European Climate.
90 Days: ripes safe in a Central European Climate.
100 Days: ripes safely with a seaon extension treatment in a Central European Climate.
110 Days: ripes only with a seaon extension treatment in a Central European Climate.
120 Days: even with a season extension treatment it only limited ripeness in Central European Climate
The evaluations are for a cultivation on a sunny area in a Central European Climate on 200 - 400 meters abouve sealevel.
