For decades French cultivators have produced the  Potimarron, diese Sorte ist deutlich grösser als Uchiki Kuri . It is comparable to Red Kuri and can also be cooked whit its skin.

Fruits: shape of a large drop, orange somewhat speckled; Size (DxH): 9-11 X 12-18 cm; Flesh: yellow-orange; 3 cm thick, firm; fine-grained, somewhat fibrous and not so dry, delicate flavour;
