(Lagenaria siceraria)
Big, bright green fruits with a diameter of 20 - 30 cm and a length of 30 - 40 cm. When the fruits are harvested well riped in late autumn, they dry. Used often to transport liquids or to produce music instruments as the ballophon. The plant has 3- 5 fruits. Young bottled calabashes are also edible.
