Baby Bear was introduced on the US market in 1993. This variety was the result of a cross between New England Pie and a smaller hull-less variety. It had then a great success and got the "All America Selections Winner" Award for 1993.
Fruits: round, somewhat flattened at both poles; Size (DxH): 10 - 12 x about 8 cm; Flesh: dark yellow, thin, of good quality;
